My Educational Background and Experience
I’ve published numerous articles in professional journals and have been interviewed by Newsweek, Good Housekeeping, CBS MarketWatch, The Daily Record, NPR and many other national publications. I’ve also appeared on local news programs across the country.

I’ve been practicing in the Washington, DC area since 1995. Before that, I earned both my Masters and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and completed my internship at the prestigious SUNY Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY

As a nationally recognized expert, I’m frequently called on to provide training to other psychologists and mental health professionals on how to treat problem anger. I’ve been called on to testify in court as an expert witness and regularly consult with international corporations on anger in the workplace.
